Susan is one of the most dynamic and creative CEO’s I’ve had the pleasure to work with.

She is highly emotionally intelligent and uses her empathetic skills to work as a compassionate leader. This endears her to her staff and as a result, they perform at their very best. Susan always creates a ‘family’ environment in any business she leads. She knows each and every one of her staff by name (no mean feat when she has many people working for her), and cares deeply about their backgrounds, their families, and personal challenges and ambitions. If you are loyal to Susan, she is loyal to you. You work hard, you are rewarded. Susan makes everything a fun, creative experience and it’s no wonder she has such loyal people in her life.

Susan has an almost prescient awareness about the health and fitness industry. Her love of this sector runs through her like DNA.

She is a brilliant turnaround leader, able to put fresh life into coasting or ailing businesses so that they significantly improve their profit margins.

Her real interest lies in new start ups. She excels in driving businesses onto the next ‘curve’. For example, in a three year period, she grew Nu Yu fitness into a major brand in Saudi Arabia with a massive return on investment for the owner in a three-year time frame. I’ve not seen anyone do this before. This is because she can see the big picture and also drill into the detail to make the business work.

Susan is a thoroughly decent human being who works from her personal values. And anyone coming into contact with her appreciates her honesty, fairness and passion for work and life. It’s been a privilege working for her as her coach and mentor and long may that continue.
